Is this ok?

I'm a new vegan. I was just wondering if this is an ok amount to eat?

Breakfast: soy mocha

Lunch: subway 6inch salad sandwich with avocado, sweet onion sauce, no cheese.

Snack: 2 oranges %26amp; a diet coke

Dinner: Lentil soup and a bowl of green beens.

Is this waaay too much? How much did you eat today? Is this ok?
You did pretty well. It's certainly not too much by a long shot. In fact you'd do a bit better to make sure you start with a substantial breakfast especially if you are interested in losing or maintaining weight (though you didn't say). It's called "break-fast" for a reason and it's what gets us going. Starting off well keeps us from binging later. So, maybe a bowl of steel-cut oatmeal (much tastier than the rolled oat kind) or a fruit smoothie made with some flax seeds (or meal) for extra fiber and omega 3, vegan waffles, peanut butter toast with a bit of jam, or a breakfast burrito in a wheat tortilla with beans, rice, diced potato, bell pepper, olive, lettuce... supplemented with a handful of cherries or blueberries. You can have coffee too or perhaps a soy chai.

Good lunch but you can also make your own perhaps with another tortilla (maybe brown rice one this time), spread with hummus and top with red bell pepper strips, purple onion, cucumber sticks, a bit of salt, pepper to taste, add some flax oil or garlic infused olive oil, broken/crumbled pecans or walnuts, and sprinkled heavily with dry roasted flax seeds and then roll up. Add a bowl of soup and water or herb tea. Or have a falafel sandwich with romaine, tahini, onions and tomatoes.

Your snack is good as well with two oranges but if you're going to consume a soda, especially with the little else you are eating and so little other junk, then you should consume a regular soda. Diet drinks play tricks with the body and insulin. Also the aspartame/nutra-sweet is artificial, controversial, and an excito-toxin.

If you eat well during the rest of the day then you can go light at dinner if you just aren't all that hungry. However, one of the joys of vegan is that as long as you're avoiding the junk you can eat when you are hungry. Except for nuts (which are high-density nutrient heavy jewels) the majority of the diet is low calorie but higher nutrients than the standard western diet; so you're less likely to be as hungry since you will be meeting your needs better now. You might add a piece of good bread or a half cup of quinoa if you're up for it and then allow yourself a bit of dessert.

Me? I had two cups of chai with vanilla Edensoy, a veggie pizza roll, several cherries and small tomatoes, and three bowls of local heirloom beans because they were just so good. All of it was organic too. :)

Eat if you're hungry and don't if you're not with the possible exception of make sure you eat something in the first hour or so and maybe supplement it with a mid-morning snack if you just don't feel like eating much at first.

And get some good exercise to get your blood moving and keep all the body parts working. :)
No that's not enough. There aren't enough nutrients in there to keep you going. You need breakfast not just a soy mocha and then a snack before lunch. I hope you have become vegan because you don't like how the animals are treated before slaughter and not just because you want to lose weight. Go to the Peta web-site they have some really good receipes on there.

I'm a vegi as well and so far have had a glass of water and a granola bar. Around 10am I will have some fruit. For lunch I'll probly have a salad then before dinner another snack. You can have as much fruit and vegis as you can eat all day long and it won't cause you to gain weight if that's what your worried aboutIs this ok?
You did ok but you need a lttle more nutritien in your day! Eat snacks between breakfast and lunch but then again don't over do it you know. WIth your lunch you could have added some vegan chips or something like that! But its good you decided to go vegan in the first place! Go VEGANS!!!
I dont think its pretty okey. Although its fine but it lacks nutrients. And diet coke is uggh in my opinion though. I think its not too much. It is lacking with nutrients and yeah calories.
If your trying to starve yourself then yehh its fine
I think your breakfast is lacking. Can you add something proteiny like a felafel wrap or something else beany. It's not enough to get you over the line.
It does not sound like enough. A soy mocha is hardly a decent breakfast and you are lacking in almost everything for the day.
If you love yourself or your family or ANYONE at all. Please seek help for your eating disorder.

"soy mocha" is in no way whatsoever a breakfast.

Stop drinking diet coke, artificial sweeteners are toxic.

"Is this waaay too much?" - ?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

How could that possibly be too much? How could that possibly be enough?
Sounds ok depending on portions . But I don't know your size or anything so maybe it works for you. I eat more or less the same type foods except soya drinks (I use fruit) and I have a mid morning snack as well. My portion sizes may be bigger (I'm 6'0. 185lbs) too. Personally, I would increase morning and lunch intake and decrease dinner.

Here's what my Grandma always says:

Fro breakfast, eat like a King

For lunch, eat like a Queen

For dinner, eat like a beggar

By the way, I am not a vegetarian or vegan so my meals would include some meat about 3-4 times a week.
If you think that is way too much you may have an eating disorder. You need more for breakfast more fruit and more whole grains.
