Would this be a good diet to follow/use?

I will soon be trying out p90x,but am not sticking with their nutrition plan.I'm not really a diet expert, but from what I know of healthy foods, tell me if this is alright....

scrambled eggs, toast, orange juice, and some milk (skim/low fat) for breakfast

some subway (I always get the footlong, whole wheat bread not toasted, grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, hot peppers),various fruits and veggies for lunch.

lean meats,chicken,steak,salad,for dinner.

and of course water all day everyday.

sometimes i have a sandwich,whole wheat bread no toasted,with lettuce,tomato,some hotsauce,and italian turkey.

also, can you tell me what sodas are alright, the diet ones?what is your opinion on power bars and energy drinks (like powerade, not stuff like monster or red bull)Would this be a good diet to follow/use?
Sodas--even diet ones have copious amounts of sugar and/or "fake" sugar/ sugar substitutes that will be empty calories (of no GOOD USE to your body). Energy drinks are also sugar or substitute laden coloured water with the addition of caffeine which is not a good HEALTHY component in the quantity of each can/bottle for GOOD USE caloric intake.

Read the labels on the power bars and make sure that sugar and fat--particularly saturated and trans fat #s are "reasonable" for the portion size recommended.

Pasta--as long as it's whole wheat or whole grain--yes there is a difference--and not made with white flour is a complex GOOD carb that should be eaten early in the day so that you have the energy and stamina to do your daily tasks/errands without getting tired and worn down. Rice also--either brown, wild, a mixture--not white--is also a complex carb. Basically anything made with white flour is more processed--lacks the bran and therefore fibre content--of the grain.
