Will running bulk me up>?

i'm going to start running all the time for exercise (i'm training for a marathon) but i worry about my diet. i tend to eat a lot of food; sometimes it's healthy but sometimes not. (for example, i ate yogurt for breakfast, a subway sandwich and chips for lunch and then applesauce, a butterfinger, a donut, and mac and cheese for dinenr) but i've heard that if you eat crappy but exercise, you won't really lose weight but you may tighten up. is there any truth to any of this? i would like to slim down a bit and then tighten up. what's the best way to slim down while running? Will running bulk me up%26gt;?
You need to eat wisely. Eat what you want, but in moderation. Running won't make you more muscular so much as it will give you better muscle definition. It's also a great exercise for the heart and lungs. By the end of this summer you'll find that running a few miles a day is nothing.
No. Running does not really build muscles or burn to many calories. What it does is that it tones your muscles and speeds up your metabolism. so as your body burns calories faster it leveas less to be stored as fat. SO preferablly eat less crap.and get thinner.

A common misperception is that running fast burns many calories. Turns out that running far at a slower pace is way better for you. And does all of the things above faster.

u always want to run and tthen eat, but you don't wat to eat lot or what was the point of running? If you get hungry, just eat a string cheese or a banana. I knnow, it is 100 calories, butt it has a lot of energy in it and you won't feel hungry. Before u run if you have to eat, eat light because you might feel sick while u ru ad that's not good
no, it will just tone your muscles... just make sure to eat healthy foods, though your food description seems to be very healthy... it does not matter how much u eat after exercise, because you are getting rid of many calories...

the best way to slim down while running is to not drink sugary energy drinks that are high in calories, drink water instead, eat healthy foods, and exercise daily
when you first start running don't eat junk.

just maybe after a month you can eat little more and more... but be ready to run little more and more...

count the calories and than burn them...

that way you won't gain any weight =]

just eat healthy don't eat all the junk food..it's really bad for you.
you eat horribly.

and no running just leans you out.

you need to pump iron to gain the bulk baby. eat tons of protein.
