Crunches are a muscular excercise. Doing them will burn calories, like any activity will, but it's not enough for it to be your weight loss plan. You eat good foods, but that and cardio will be what helps you. Then when the fat comes off your stomach, you will see the muscle you have been building with crunches.

Also, try different ab excercises. Pilates is a good idea. Hope this helps!
Crunches and squats will mostly firm up your muscles, it is good to do. The walking will really help you lose weightWould crunches help me lose weight?
ya
Crunches are great for isolating the ab muscles to attempt to firm them up or maintain the structure, while squats work various leg muscles for strength. Neither of these exercises alone or in tandem are enough to drop weight, but are great tools to work muscle groups that need to get stronger as you progress with your workout regime.
Crunches do not burn off many calories by itself. It is good for building ab muscles and firming the abs. Squats burn off more calories although you would have to do more than 100.
