I am moving to Beijing in about 3 weeks. My apartment and my workplace will be in the Chaoyang district. I am looking for a nice breakfast place, much like an European cafe where I can get a good cup of coffee and maybe a nice bar in the neighborhood where I can just go before/after work without having to take a bus/cab/subway.
All suggestions are welcome :) Thank youRelocating to Beijing - looking for a nice cafe/bar?
Head over to Minder's in the evening. Great Expat hang out. You are sure to meet someone who can show you the lay of the land.
There're many cafes all over in Beijing, most office buildings have at least one coffee shop situated inside the complex, Starbucks, MacDonald's and many similar coffee shops are everywhere. You'll easily find one near your office.Relocating to Beijing - looking for a nice cafe/bar?
Well, Sanlitun is located in Chaoyaoyang, and it is the best area for expats, it is the embassy area and there are lots of bars, clubs, restaurants, cafe...If you live close to the Chaoyang Park, then you should probably try Juicy Spot, Suzy Wong, Pepper Bar...but you can also go to Wudaokou its more like a student area, also great for expats. If you need more information, just go on the website http://www.cityweekend.com.cn/beijing/. you will find all kind of information on it.
