Do you think there should be a cap on the amount of calories served in a fast food restaurant?

trans fats are banned (in canada) do you think the next step would be to limit calories in food served? i mean subway changed their breakfast menu to include twice as much calories, but it pretty well tastes like the same old generic processed crap anyway. what do you think?Do you think there should be a cap on the amount of calories served in a fast food restaurant?
That seems a few steps too far. It would be much better to require that restaurants have more healthy choices, and that they be required to clearly in big print state the nutritional values of each food item they sell. Then it's up to the consumer to decide whether to eat like a slob or not.
each person should be accountable for their actions...even in a fast food restaurant......Do you think there should be a cap on the amount of calories served in a fast food restaurant?
Who's gonna regulate the amount of calories? the government, cause the last thing we need is more gov't control of our lives, let the market decide. If people stopped buying the super unhealthy items then the restaurants would no longer sell them, as long as there is a demand there will be a supply
Nope, free choice. The last thing we need is government dictating our lifestyles. If you are too stupid to take care of yourself then so be it!
I don't think it matters, cause really filthy sweaty fat ladies with stretch pants, greasy hair, cold sores on their tongues, and perspiration stains under their arms will just order twice as much
yes, people in la are gordo
I dont care for subway!! its nasty i only like boars head meat and publix will do fresh subs .
the calories aren't the problem. fast food poorly processed, depriving the food of any real nutrients. less calories won't really change how bad the food is for you
This is 2007, there should be ways to cook food without unhealthy stuff, and still taste the same. Trans fat should be banned.
no - waste of time

People can just get in their car and drive to another place, hit a food court, or visit an all-u-can eat buffet.
If anyone has the need to know how many, they probably just shouldnt eat there.
Don't think it matters
